Welcome to the Home of the Heavies

Founded in 1885, Heavitree United Football Club is Exeter’s oldest football club and enters the 2026/27 season with renewed ambition following the merger with City Raiders.

The merger brings together Heavitree United’s proud history and the excellent facilities at Wingfield Park with a successful and ambitious group of players, volunteers and committee members. Together, we have a strong foundation on which to build the club’s future.

Following back-to-back league promotions, the squad now looks forward to competing in the Stitch2Print Devon & Exeter Football League Division Two. While we remain ambitious on the pitch, we are equally committed to strengthening the club and creating something that players, volunteers, supporters and sponsors can all be proud to be part of.

Whether you have supported the Heavies for many years, followed City Raiders in recent seasons, or are discovering the club for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you to Wingfield Park throughout the season.
