Shall we just say that we did not got our deserved result from our first away match of the season. If we had taken our chances, then the result would have been different, but we come away with a defeat. This is always going to be a tough division for the lads a big step forward for the squad, there will be more tough matches to come, I am sure of that. Yesterday showed that we must take our chances at this level, and or course be stronger overall during the match. We have a chance for some quick revenge, as we now keep our heads up and move forward to this coming Saturday 19/9/26, with a HOME League Fixture v Newtown 2nd, 3pm ko.

The Team will now be looking forward to our first AWAY League Fixture for this season. We have come through a tough patch and secured the WIN against Morchard Bishop FC, definetly a game of two halves. Our fixture on Saturday 12/9/26 will be against Newtown FC 2nd, with the match being played at Newton St Cyres FC, on the back pitch. It’s another chance for the team to keep things moving forward in a positive manner. Let’s look to support the team and hopefully we can secure the deserved result after the 90 minutes has been played. The ko will be 3pm.

After our first League Win of the season against Royal Oak, we look forward to another HOME Fixture this coming Saturday 5/9/26. We have a 3pm ko v Morchard Bishop. This will be another test for the lads, which I’m sure that they wil look forward to. It’s another match to show Jon and Danny how well they can play. The attitude and effort needs to be right to ensure the result goes in our favour. Hopefully we get some good support again. Let’s look to get ready and play well.

We start our 2026/27 Devon & Exeter League campain with a HOME fixture on Friday 28/8/26, with a 6.30pm ko. We will be playing Royal Oak, formally Railway. Time for our lads to step it up and show that this is a new start for Heavitree UTD FC. Let’s look to ensure we get the deserved result at the final whistle. I am sure that the lads will give 100% effort and commitment and take on board the instructions from Jon and Danny. Let’s get this going, support the team, players and all involved, and then have a pint after in the Social Club.
